This beautiful release of Cabernet reminds us that Cab can be both bright and dark; fruit forward and bold; soft and yet strong. The aromatic nose is redolent of mixed dark berries and currant balanced with hints of rosemary and herbs. The bouquet is full and round with a dusty chocolate aroma, a hint of lovely soft vanilla and just a dash of cinnamon.

 As soon as this wine hits the tongue it explodes with flavor. Bright Bing cherries chase red plum around the palate. A light mint and whisper of floral is mixed with the essence of summer blackberries, which carries through to the finish. The well-structured tannins are soft, yet daring, allowing the wine to either be enjoyed with big bold meals or quietly sipped on its own.

We always prided ourselves on producing varietally true releases of Merlot, and the 2006 Prix Reserve Napa Valley, Vichy Vineyard Block 4, Reserve Merlot is no exception. On the nose are red and black fruits while on the palate are bright cherry flavors complimented by a multitude of spices and silky, soul-filling tannins. Our Reserve Prix wines are just that: reserve. We believe that some years yield more generous, luscious wines than other seasons and for Prix Reserve Chardonnay, 2010 was that season. This is a beautiful complex wine with a lush deep nose and rich length across the palate. The nose takes you to a tropical paradise. It's as if you are sitting on the beach with the scents of pineapple and star fruit wafting by you on a warm evening breeze. The coconuts up in their trees make an appearance in both the aromatics and mouth of this round wine. Laying softly across the whole palate, this wine continues is tropic vacation with toasted pineapple and plantains.

Our seventh vintage, this 2008 Napa Valley Estate Bottled Syrah is the first made from our newest vineyard: Weir Family Vineyard III in the Eastern foothills of the Valley. On the nose, our Syrah shows aromas of red and black fruits.
